A major Midwest City that represents the largest municipal park district in the country needed to migrate their server infrastructure and legacy applications to the cloud in order to minimize their on-premise footprint. They were moving to a new headquarters with aging infrastructure and applications that needed to be updated, so cloud operations helped them simplify and streamlined their operations. The consultant selected was expected to create an IT roadmap that could govern several cloud server migrations.
The City needed an experienced and qualified consulting firm that could deliver tangible benefits, including the simplification of processes and creation of efficiencies, the acceleration of organizational objectives through innovation, a lower total cost of ownership and enhanced stakeholder satisfaction. Overall, the City needed to improve application availability while reducing risk through a move to the cloud.
