CHICAGO, August 23, 2024 — SDI Presence LLC (SDI), an IT services firm, announces the addition of Michael Cardarelli as the new utilities delivery executive. With more than 20 years of experience in business technology management—specifically in the utilities industry—Cardarelli brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the firm.
Cardarelli’s career is marked by impactful roles across some of the most respected names in the utilities and technology sectors. Most recently, he served as a senior consultant at Utilligent, where he provided strategic direction and program management consulting services to major utilities across North America. Prior to Utilligent, he served as a business and technology utilities manager at Accenture, where he played a key role in technology transformation projects for clients like Pennsylvania Power and Light (PPL) and AES Ohio. His deep expertise in the project life cycle—from scope identification to implementation—helped clients achieve significant advancements in electric, gas, and water utilities.

Cardarelli’s skillset includes various utility-related specialties such as Operations Management, Renewable Energy, Smart Grid, Utility Construction, and Business Development. With experience in AMI program implementations for water, electric, and gas in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, Michael will collaborate with senior executive clients to create business opportunities and provide complex program delivery strategies.
