CHICAGO, December 14, 2012 — SDI (System Development.Integration, LLC), a leading systems integrator specializing in mission-critical technologies and infrastructure, announces that Stanley Stec, a seasoned financial executive in the professional services industry, will join the company’s executive management team as Chief Financial Officer, effective today.
“Stan brings to SDI more than three decades of financial leadership experience and a track record in driving financial strategy, managing complex balance sheets, and executing and integrating acquisitions,” said President and Chief Operations Officer Brian Diver. SDI’s decision to advance its financial function better equips the firm to address its domestic and international growth plans. SDI recently received investment by private equity firms LLR Partners and Monument Capital Group to fund its continued growth in the public sector technology market through acquisitions and expansion of its footprint globally.
As incoming CFO of SDI, Stec will serve as the top financial executive and will direct both the domestic and international financial and accounting practices of the organization, including financial planning, forecasting, reporting and accounting. Stec will play a key role in achieving SDI’s growth targets through both organic growth and acquisition activities, while ensuring government compliance and providing both operational and programmatic leadership to the organization.

Prior to joining SDI, Stec most recently served as Chief Financial Officer at a global wireless and application services provider leading the financial, HR, IT and M&A functions through an acquisitive growth period. Prior positions during his career include Integration Executive at IBM after the acquisition of Initiate Systems, where he was VP Controller. He also served as EVP and Chief Accounting Officer at Jones Lang LaSalle, a global leader in real estate and money management; and Vice President, Controller of CCC Information Services, Inc., a publicly traded supplier of automobile claims information and processing and communications services. Stan also held various financial and operational leadership positions with J.D. Edwards & Company, a publicly-held developer and marketer of enterprise and supply chain computing solutions, where he provided global leadership and completed several strategic initiatives during an explosive growth period which included an IPO. He also held finance leadership positions at Infogix and Pansophic Systems.
Stan is a certified public accountant, holds a B.A. in Business from St. Xavier University, and completed the Executive Program at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
