CHICAGO, November 8, 2024 — SDI Presence LLC (SDI), a deeply established, client-centered IT services partner, announces the addition of Susan M. Kunz, PMP, ITIL, CSM, as Vice President of Professional Services – SLED-East. With more than 20 years of experience managing critical technology projects, Kunz brings extensive expertise in project leadership, process improvement, and organizational transformation across the public and private sectors. Her appointment aligns with the firm’s commitment to delivering strategic, innovative solutions that drive measurable client outcomes.
As a former Chief Information Officer with Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT), Kunz successfully led a large-scale transformation that modernized a 20-year-old public sector agency through innovative technologies and a collaborative enterprise approach. She has also held senior roles at Sagitec Solutions, Horace Mann Insurance, and MSF&W / Illinois State Treasurer’s Office—overseeing multimillion-dollar initiatives in software implementations, system integrations, disaster recovery, infrastructure, and support services. Her project management expertise is complemented by her exceptional skills in crisis mitigation, stakeholder collaboration, and strategic planning.

Kunz’s extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, including agile, waterfall, and modified waterfall, equips her to tailor strategies to meet specific client needs. With certifications in Project Management (PMP), ITIL Foundations, and as a Certified Scrum Master, Kunz excels in aligning technology solutions with business goals—driving both immediate and sustained benefits for clients.
