SDI’s ServiceNow Solutions Director, Ric Mims, Appointed to HDI Emeritus Advisory Board

CHICAGO, November 1, 2024 — SDI Presence LLC (SDI), an IT services firm, announces that Ric Mims, Director of ServiceNow Solutions, has been named to the HDI Emeritus Advisory Board. In this role, Mims along with other esteemed members, will help shape the strategic vision of HDI’s events—informing key topics to be addressed and providing valuable feedback to enhance attendee experiences. 

As one of HDI’s Emeritus Advisory Board members, Mims will be instrumental in advising on important events and identifying industry topics. The Advisory Board convenes a couple of times annually with the Conference Advisory Board to offer strategic insights, which includes reviewing industry trends and analyzing attendee feedback after events.

He was honored with HDI’s 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award, named to the HDI Strategic Advisory Board, and recognized as one of HDI’s Top 25 Industry Thought Leaders in 2023. This appointment to the HDI Emeritus Advisory Board further solidifies Mims’ legacy of impactful thought leadership and his commitment to advancing the IT Service Management service and support communities.

Keynote Speaker at Service Management 2024 

Mims will be one of the keynote speakers at the upcoming Service Management World in Orlando, FL. His session, Mastermind Industry Panel: Service Management 2025, will feature an in-depth discussion with industry experts on the key trends shaping the future of service management. The panel will offer insights from HDI’s State of Service Management study, covering topics from AI and automation to hybrid team management and experience management. This session is scheduled for Tuesday, November 19, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Attendees can look forward to practical takeaways and strategic guidance that will help drive their organizations forward in 2025 and beyond.
