SDI developed and currently maintains a highly complex and integrated set of systems used to streamline public safety and security workflows at two airports with a common management team. Through the years, SDI has been an agent of change, helping the client digitally transform their workflows and the way they manage and use data. From streamlining badging functions by creating bar codes that can be scanned to eliminate transcription and transposing errors to integrating the DAC directly into the system, SDI has helped the agency become more efficient. As the current security integrator, SDI provides onsite technical and advisory support services to integrate, secure, and maintain mission critical systems for both airports.
The agency required a dedicated, responsive partner to install, maintain, repair, and provide comprehensive technical support, and inventory management services for the airports’ integrated safety and security systems. This includes 24/7/365 on-call support of all mission critical systems.
SDI has successfully provided maintenance and technical support for this client since 1991. The core SDI Team has provided seamless support for newly implemented Biometrics, Wireless Card Readers, Intelligent Video, License Plate Recognition, and Wireless Mesh Networking systems, all while managing and supporting an environment with ever-increasing device and server counts as the airports continue to expand.
